Ruku Moana Marlborough Ltd builds on a strong foundation of commercial diving in Te Tauihu. In its early years, the company benefited from the guidance of James Brodie (Marlborough Commercial Diving Services), whose knowledge helped shape key systems and protocols.

Today, Ruku Moana is led by directors Nathan and Ben, supported by a dedicated team of skilled divers and marine specialists. We deliver a full spectrum of underwater services — from inspections and maintenance to scientific support, salvage, and ROV operations — with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and kaitiakitanga.

Our commitment is to provide reliable, professional solutions that protect both client assets and the marine environment, making us a trusted provider of commercial diving services across Marlborough, Te Waipounamu, and beyond.

NATHAN DOLAN

Director & Partner

Nathan’s journey in the diving industry spans more than a decade, shaped by a deep respect for the moana and a strong belief in doing things the right way.

As a founding member of Ruku Moana Marlborough, he leads complex projects from the front - prioritising safety, efficiency, and the wellbeing of the team.

His experienced leadership brings confidence to every dive, carrying the kaupapa forward and strengthening the whanaungatanga that binds our crew.
